Wanted to love this place. I paid $35 , and ordered 3 items, assuming it would be enough for a full meal.
In the wanton soup, there was one wonton.
The sushi was 8 tiny pieces.
The bok choy was barely three mouthfuls.

I never leave negative reviews, but this is just such a rip off.

I like to check out a nice residential area when I go to a new city--just to get a feel for the place. Coconut Grove was a nice respite from the high rise condo feel that predominates in much of the city. It has a good neighborhood vibe and makes for a nice stroll.

Cool restaurants, shops and walking areas. Parking is limited and very expensive. Can easily pay $20 to park, just to run over and grab a bit to eat for lunch. But, the area is so cool and trendy (in a very good way). You can spend the entire day here, strolling around enjoying the parks, marinas, food and drinks.

the hearalded cocowalk area us under construction so dont expect to do any shopping. there are restaurants open and especially on the main street which has many bars and eating places going towards the water past starbucks. we stayed in a residence inn which was good but there really isnt anything for tourists in the area. we had a cruise the next day so we just needed a place to stay and had marriott points, it is about 20 minutes to the cruise port so it worked for us.

It has been a while since I used to frequent Coconut Grove. A lot of development taking place. It still retains a bit of its unique character. The park near the marina is shrinking but still retains that aspect of calm.

Very different to Miami with more of a cultural and colonial feel. Endless coffee shops and interesting small shops with a few nice waterfront areas. Unfortunately slightly spoiled at the moment with a lot of construction work.

Here is the most European part of Miami. You will see more European designed cafe shops. There are good and enjoyable restaurants. Chug's Cuban Cafe is a nice one and relatively cheaper. If you like sushi, SushiMaki could be ok. If you like the hamburger, "The Local" is the address. But, do not think that all the restaurants are good in this area.

Tourist trap. Parked in the paradise parking at the mutiny garage. 2 and a half parking $25 is a rip off. Rates not clearly posted. Beware. Better placed to visit and better restaurants and entertainment in Wynwood, Midtown, brickell, coral gables and the design district. Not worth the hassle and aggravation to park in the grove.

Overrated, go to wynwood, Brickell or south beach. Not much to see. The restaurant scene wasn’t much to write home about. Wish I’d stayed somewhere with more going on.

Had a late flight out of MIA so we decided to check out Coconut Grove. It was neat neighborhood with pharmacies, shops, art, restaurants, etc. But nothing spectacular. They did have this one cute boutique that was amazing although for very tiny people. I'm a size 4/6 and am too big for fashion here.
