Marty and I have been to and brought the message at several Memorial Services for Veterans who heard "Taps" played for them for the last time and we find it very moving. It is amazing how the land planners took hundreds of acres of flat...More

the cemetery and the services (I was there for Memorial Day) are fine. Outside those giving parking directions were polite but completely confused. Free water is available andthere is a reasonable amount of seating.

Periodically, when I ride my bicycle, I will head over to the National Cemetery on State Road 7. I enjoy the serenity, the peace and calm, as I pedal around the grounds, looking at endless headstones. While not a "beautiful" place, it is a special...More

The South Florida National Cemetery will never be a "tourist" attraction like Arlington National Cemetery, but the planners did a fantastic job of creating a respectful, peaceful resting place for our honored veterans.

This is a National Cemetery, and is maintained impeccably. One thing, you can't ride your bicycle into the cemetery. Although in the past I was able to, the relatively ne manager does not allow it. Says it is not a place to exercise. Strange.
