We stopped in while walking the town to see the murals. This is a rather unique attraction. It is not just about the artifacts, but also about the "purpose" of clowning. I had watched the on-line video prior to stopping. In reality, I saw almost...More

Toby's is located on the circle at the far end of town. We went in not expecting much because it is a small place. To our surprise, we enjoyed ourselves because the attraction is the people (amateur clowns, I think) who run the place. We...More

Not impressed. They have classes to be a clown, but, it's up for sale. Doesn't have many visitors. Located near railroad tracks at corner of Interlakes Blvd and the circle.

Very interesting place to visit while in Lake Placid... with advance notice you can get a tour with clowns and activities.. Lake Placid clowns are very friendly and attend many local events.

Don't miss out by not stopping here! They have quite a selection of clown items in the museum as well as items to purchase. It is a great place to find folks to talk with as well!

This is just a small building but it is loaded with clown-related memorabilia. One room has clown "stuff" floor to ceiling with seats in the middle to view a live show or video. There is also a small room at the entrance which functions as...More
