Interesting place! Learned some new information about the history of the Keys. Some of the interactive screens were pretty slow to work. The volunteer at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. Really liked the piece on how Robbie’s was started!
Beautiful facility with friendly well informed staff of volunteers. The history of the railroad construction and the hurricanes was both interesting and educational. Can't wait for the Mote Marine exhibit. WELL DONE!! Thank You.

The Discovery Center tells the history of the Keys from the Spanish explorers to the destruction of the Flaglar Rail Road from the 1935 huricane. Very clean and the staff is informative and delightful. Well worth the visit.
