Went out on my brother's boat and the visibility was great... We were able to use my third-lung to explore the upper superstructure, (20-40 feet) and spent about 30 minutes swimming around with barracudas as spectators.

This is a huge wrack and you need several dives to see it all. But you should be advanced and experienced in wrack, deep and current diving.

What an incredible experience with Southpoint Divers out of Key West. Highly recommend this dive. Staff of Southpoint was oustanding. Went into the rooms of the ship for the full experience.

The Vandy is a huge wreck with lots of swim throughs, marine life and things to see (e.g., radar dishes). The City of Key West spent millions making it safe for divers. Due to its depth, it is considered to be an advanced dive and...More

The wreck sits upright and is fully intact. The deck sits at about 95' while the keel at some 149'. Visibility is rarely above 15-20' so stay close to your dive buddy. Having said that the wreck is a fantastic dive. I always take a...More

I have never made a dive down to this sunken vessel but have fished over it many times with great success. Just be sure to steer clear of the dive flags

The Vandenburg Wreck is so immense with multiple swimthroughs that it would take hundreds of dives to explore all of it. With lots of marine life surrounding the wreck, it is surely a must-do dive if you are in the Keys.

Southpoint Divers and Captain's Corner are two of the best dive outfitters. These SCUBA outfitters are the two I recommend to friends and family visiting.
