This is a really nice park and a testament to the city and people of Gainesville to create a beautiful space out of a really ugly spot. Great play are for kids, nice access to biking trails and great walking paths and event space.

Kids love to go there and play as well as they really enjoy the splash park. Maintained by the City and very relaxing. An added welcome to the downtown district

Great park in a terrible city. The city center (or at least what I think it was) is almost abandoned. I was scared about it, it looked like a ghost town. Is it really so? Depot Park is extremely clean and well organized for children!

Yes, there is a pravilion on the east side that has a few and some places you can get out of the rain. GREAT lay out and parking is on that side of the park as well.
