Love to walk to this park and all around their trails. My dog loves it also. Great activities and events for all ages and it's handicap accessible. Walking up in evening to catch the sunset is real nice, but all times of the day are...More

We visited the now finished park after visiting for several years as it was being planned and built. There's a nice walkway around the water feature and some landscaping. Some gazebo-like sitting areas, tables with umbrellas as well as the depot building with a bar...More

This is a really nice park and a testament to the city and people of Gainesville to create a beautiful space out of a really ugly spot. Great play are for kids, nice access to biking trails and great walking paths and event space.

We have visited this park for several wonderful reasons. We attended a musical performance in the evening with a series of different perfomances -- bring a lawn chair or blanket -- or just to walk around in the daytime or evening. There is a pond...More

We live down the street from Depot Park and we love it. We are two adults with no children so we don't spend time in the play area but there is still a lot to offer. We love walking our dogs on the nature trail...More

Kids love to go there and play as well as they really enjoy the splash park. Maintained by the City and very relaxing. An added welcome to the downtown district

Great park in a terrible city. The city center (or at least what I think it was) is almost abandoned. I was scared about it, it looked like a ghost town. Is it really so? Depot Park is extremely clean and well organized for children!

Yes, there is a pravilion on the east side that has a few and some places you can get out of the rain. GREAT lay out and parking is on that side of the park as well.
