It is a great place to watch the world go by either on a boat or on the shore. There are tons of events from the Yacht show to the Boat Parade. There are bars and restaurants that you can access by boat or drive to so you can watch the baots.

We rented a motor boat with a captain. This was really cool. Beautiful ride they mangroves on the canals, saw lots of birds, some iguanas. Marinas were beautiful, packed with nice boats. Downtown was nice, it was cool to see to people on the promenades, pick nicking in the parla etc. A different way to see the city.

When the rest of the US is in a cold freeze it is clearly a time to head to South Florida. The Intracoastal Waterway is part of that party fun to be included in the tour. Off with the skinny jeans and into the perfect swimsuit, drink in hand and let the coastal breezes blow you.

The Intercoastal Waterway in Fort Lauderdale (down to Hollywood) is a nice way to see the towns from a different view. There are magnificent mansions and houses, as well as restaurants and bars. I'd recommend using the water taxi and doing it during the day, then again at night, coming back from dinner, as the houses/mansions have wonderful lighting.

Water taxi was very informative and had a great time getting off and eating/drinking.
My wife and I also went parasailing, with So Flo parasailing. They were great!
Favorite place to eat while we were there was Coconuts! Fantastic food! Rocco’s Tacos was very good also!

What a fun way to see Fr. Lauderdale's finest homes on rhe waterways. 3 hours from start to finish if you don't exit the boat, longer if you stop at any of the featured stops. Ryan was a great tour guide!

There are many tiny but long isles in a lagoon between Ft. Lauderdale beach and it's downtown mainland. Those isles host very rich and lavish houses, most of them with terrific yachts docked on the waterway side.
There are many ways to see them. The cheapest way is to drive along Las Olas and to enter the isles. Water taxi tours are better, but they have scheduled itineraries and routes. The best but most expensive is to rent a private boat.
Whatever you do, it will be a feast for your eyes making you think you're in a movie.

We took the water taxi and ran up and down the Intracostal. Amazing how it runs in and out here and there and ultimately to the sea itself. Beautiful hours all around it. Gorgeous boats of every description and size. Fun afternoon cruising on it.

Cruise past mansions and yachts. You can take a boat tour or rent a boat and go on your own. Highly recommend the Jungle Queen tour that points out mansions and who owns them. Most mansions here belong to business people unlike Star Island for movie stars and athletes. A great way to see the area.
