Unless you are privileged enough to have your own yatch, make the most of this waterway, with the water taxi. Brilliant commentary from the crew, 14 stops along the way, and a regular timetable. Do up load the app, for up to date timings, really...More

This is amazing waterway considering it begins up near Boston and runs all the way to around Galveston. There are so many boats of various sizes constantly on it. Also water taxis connect both sides in the Fort Lauderdale area.

We spent a whole day just cruising along the waterway and canals. The wealth obvious in the yachts, houses, condos etc had us gawping in awe but we wondered about the 21% living in poverty in the Ft Lauderdale region.

You can take fantastic tours on the intercoastal. A great your is millionaire row, where you'll see mega mansions and yachts larger parked behind them larger than some homes.
