This is a small museum with the most interesting embroidery on display - white on white work. The tour is lovely and the people are great. Worth the time to visit. You will learn about the early days in Mountmellick. Really interesting.

We just stopped in to see the handwork and stayed a long time. Interesting place for the Quaker history. The people were very kind and helpful.

The story of Mountmellick lace, the local craft that almost disappeared, but was brought back from the brink, is beautifully presented at this fascinating little museum. Our group also enjoyed a practical introductory workshop.
