Very crowded in the water, but we saw lots of manatees. The heated houseboat is the only way to go when it's cool outside! Nice service!

The tour stands apart from other tours as it only has a max of six passages per event, and they take and provide free photos so you can focus on just exploring. We saw some other bigger tour company groups not affiliated with ours, which were frankly overcrowded and loud; however, since our group was so small, the manatees were not scared away. The staff were wonderful and kind.

We had a wonderful experience in April with Captain Peter and our in water guide Shellie. They worked hard to spot some manatees and Shellie was amazing with our hesitant 5 year old. She watched and helped him while my wife and I were able to watch the manatee. All gear was provided except towels. We appreciated Shellie’s extensive knowledge of all the wildlife we saw.

We went on a semi-private tour with 3 other people. Captain Broderick told us all about the manatees and was very clear on the best way to see them without disturbing them or scaring them away. The guide, Matt, was able to find a mama and baby for us to see, along with a few others. Matt was great about bringing us right to them. We moved to another location where one was sleeping and we could see clearly. Everyone was respectful and we had an amazing trip. I highly recommend this tour but definitely go in the winter!

Soo much fun! Seamless online booking. Accommodating customer service, great info about manatee, clean equipment, great Captains - Broderick & Shelly and awesome tour guide in the water (Shelly). Totally worth the price! The Captain's knew the best place to take us! There were no other tours there - just the 6 of us with about a dozen manatees to ourselves plus 2 playful juveniles whose curiosity got the best of them as they interacted with each of us. Pictures and video of the in/ underwater excursion are taken discreetly throughout the experience for you to purchase for a small fee at the end. Totally worth it! You can relax and enjoy the entire experience then have a great visual keepsake. Leave your phone or camera in your car. Immerse yourself in the experience! Take my advice, go in February (the cooler the better), get up early and do the first tour of the morning. Leave your smart phone and camera in the car. Dress in your bathing suit and warm sweats. Pack a beach towel and flip flops for when you get out of the water to avoid soggy shoes. Reserve a heated, semi-private boat. The rest is up to the manatees. Keep it simple, relax and enjoy! We did an air boat ride booked as part of the tour, which was also fantastic! Great company and operators!

We had a great time swimming with manatees! Our crew of 2 women was fabulous. Very friendly and knowledgeable. This company bent over backwards to help us when we had to make a reservation on a date when they were full. We initially bought a groupon for the boat in Crystal River but the date they had available didn’t fit with our schedule so they accommodated us at their Homasassa location. We were so grateful that they did this for us!
Thank you very much!

Hi there!
Planning a trip on October/2019. Is it possible to see the manatees during that time of the year?
Thanks!

Merci d'avoir écrit. La péniche est de 3 heures, mais la péniche premium est de 4 heures et comprend des collations et des boissons. Les deux sont des bateaux-maisons chauffés et fermés

Hi, we are a family of 3 and looking to do a manatee tour in June 2017. Though this is not classed as peak season is it still possible to see manatee at this time? Also, would you advise which of the booking times would be more advantageous for an opportunity to see the manatee.

Thank you for writing and we would love to have you! Yes, June is a tough time to find manatee in the area, but we almost always see at least a few. As long as you have realistic expectations you will have a wonderful time! Your best chance to see animals is going to be first thing after sunrise and it also helps in avoiding the crowds. Later in the morning and afternoon, it's tougher to find manatee, they are often times sleeping and the waterways get pretty crowded. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi, is it necessary to wear the neopren suite or is it possible to only wear a swimsuit vor bikini?

We do require the use of wetsuits for two reasons. First, the wetsuits help you float right on the surface of the water; by law we are required to stay at the surface when manatees are present. Second, it helps keep you warm. Your goal while swimming with the manatees is to just float. The less you move around, the better chance you have for a manatee interaction. The interactions we have with manatees are always their choice! So with those two reasons in mind, we do require wetsuits!

Manatee Season is technically November 15 - March 31st, but since the manatees in our area are wild animals they come and go as they please! So we never really know how many will be where at what time. In general, the colder the weather, the more manatees we have in the area. We can have hundreds packed into the springs on the coldest days of the year (typically in January and early February). But, we are lucky enough to have a small population that hangs out in King's Bay year round. In October, they should be a few out there to swim with, but it may take some searching and they are less likely to be found in crystal clear water than in the winter months. With all this in mind, we still have great tours year round as long as you have the right expectations! If you are here to have a good time and see a few manatees, then join us! But, if you are looking for a hundred manatees in crystal clear water, check the weather and visit us when its 40 degrees!

Hi,
I was interested in taking one of your tours. I will be arriving at the Orlando Airport. Is there a shuttle bus of something to get to you?

I'm afraid that we do not provide a transport vehicle to or from Orlando, actually I am not aware of any tour companies that do. Many people will rent a vehicle, some even take a bus to the area.
