We are very lucky to have this option to get to Clearwater Beach and back. It’s a very enjoyable ride and you don’t have to worry about traffic or parking on the beach. I’ve taken this route dozens of times and have always had a great experience. Try it, you’ll like it!

Traffic on the bridge over to Clearwater Beach was at a minimum of 45 minute wait time but not for us! We got on that Ferry and were in Clearwater Beach way before they were! Very friendly and entertaining staff.

We were meeting family at the beach on a busy Saturday and took the ferry from Dunedin. Left on time and price for two was less than parking in At the beach. Free parking in Dunedin was plentiful. We enjoyed the scenery and breeze as we looked at traffic at a standstill on the bridge. We took the 7:45 back and enjoyed a beautiful sunset

Loved going to the beach on this ferry. It was a different way to get there without having to worry about parking the car. You can park on Drew St. in the free public parking lot. They let you take all of your gear. The woman who helped with handling the ferry was very nice. I would have gone back but the price was a bit costly. It is $8 one way making it $16 roundtrip for a short ride. I wish they had better prices because I would have taken it more. We took the ferry from Clearwater because they were dredging the Dunedin beach. Next time we will try Dunedin. I will ride it one more time since my sister is here visiting & she enjoyed it.

After a couple of visits to Clearwater Beach in March, you learn quickly that the Causeway Bridge gets pretty backed up. This is a far better alternative. Beautiful views, friendly crew, and reasonably priced. We look forward to booking with them again if we're ever in the area.

We booked the Ferry going to Dunedin. Only $8 per person, per way. It's about a 25 minute ride. That's reasonable to me. Bought tickets on line. Ferry leaves at the end of the dock. You walk a bit. (We're older so that matters.) Was on time and an enjoyable ride. We pre-ordered the ferry back so didn't spend enough time in Dunedin. All we had time to do is eat lunch. Next time would give myself 2-3 hours so I'd have time to explore a little.

My daughter and I had attended the Billy Joel concert. The ferry ride back was so much better than driving. The crew was so friendly. There is a snack bar with amazingly reasonable prices.
