Enjoyed the day here strolling around the nature trails. Saw children enjoying the playground. There are shower houses and bathrooms available. The beach itself is gorgeous! It was only $5.00 to park for the day - can't beat that bargain!
Parking is $5 and plentiful. Change rooms and bathrooms available. The sand isn't all powdery white everywhere since there are so many crushed shells, but no water shoes were required like I had read in some reviews. Loads of shells to collect. Family friendly atmosphere....More

The fishing is good now that the RED TIDE is gone. I like to wade fish... away from people and I do wear water shoes, as with anywhere here we have crabs with stingers or barbs as we call them... and we the shuffle... few... More
The fishing is good now that the RED TIDE is gone. I like to wade fish... away from people and I do wear water shoes, as with anywhere here we have crabs with stingers or barbs as we call them... and we the shuffle... few people know Tampa on the Gulf side is a huge breeding ground for sharks so no wading at night as thats when they stay close to the surf line. You don't want to meet mama.
