Close to home. Walk in the shade and enjoy the varying scenary. You walk thru mangrove trees on an elevated platform. You'll hear cicadas (usually), see raccoons (if you are quiet), maybe hear alligators moving about and walk out onto 2 piers into the River....More

I have driven by this place for years and we decided to give it a try.....Amazing ecological park.... Saw so many animals and plant life indigenous to Florida. Enjoyed the walk though the park.

We enjoyed it, because we could go at our own pace. There were many stopping places to rest. Nice shaded walkways. Nice and quiet.

Great boardwalk all the way out to the river. Benches everywhere, shaded. Say some dolphins, assorted birds. You can rent kayaks. Awesome Veterans Memorial Area honoring those who have served our country through the U.S. armed services.

This is a wonderful nature walk with a very well made footpath that brings you out to the Caloosahatchee River. Beautiful views and very picturesque.

Nice place to take a walk, mostly on boardwalk through a mangrove forest. Be sure to walk to look out on the river. Be prepared for mosquitoes.
