Lovely little pub, however disappointed by a very unfriendly cold welcome. Not a smile between any of the staff which was a shame. Food was average, we wont be returning as felt totally unwelcome

Great pub for food or drinks, cosy with character, reasonably priced. Reason not 5 star is the service was a little slow.

The Carpenters has now been in the hands of Sally and John for about a year. They are very experienced in keeping a Pub, serving good beer and food.

We visited early one Sunday recently, the staff were friendly and the place was clean. There is seating to the left and right when you walk in, and some nice corners/big tables. The menu is not massive, it has about 5 starters and 5 mains,...More

We found this pub quite by accident, as we liked the sound of the village! Nice location with a large beer garden. Staff friendly and helpful. We all ordered sandwiches and a portion of chips between two of us (extra cost for the chips). The...More
