This tour was absolutely amazing! We were very fortunate to have done the tour as the first group in the morning as the set was empty which gave us the opportunity to take brilliant photos without people in them. The detailing of the scenery was...More

I spent three weeks in NZ travelling around both the North and South Islands, visiting many towns, attractions, restaurants but this was my highlight. I could have spent hours here, the behind the scenes magic was very interesting with input from our guide Adam. This...More

Doing this tour with a Swedish tour guide, was unique. The grounds and area are stunning, and everything is kept well. Even down to vegie patches, felt so surreal and interesting tour with snippets of information of filming and the trials they had to conquer.

A fantastic 2 hour tour, with interesting facts throughout and sites, and a class experience at the green dragon with a drink at the end! The tour size was pretty big and you were quite rushed; mainly at the green dragon at the end, where...More

What a magical day!!! Despite the rain we had a fantastic time exploring the intricacy of this place. So much to see and learn about. I applaud the attention to detail. The only downside was the limited time, I felt we were a bit rushed...More

Had wanted to do this tour for so long, it was so good, but a power cut ruined the end. The evening tour starts in the daylight and you are guided around the whole of Hobbiton by lovely guides. There was no rushing and they...More

Absolutely stunning and beautiful! Defiantly a must do for LOTR/Hobbit fans! ❤️ the farm is well managed and the guides do an excellent job with the large groups. The complementary drink at the green dragon was some of the best cider I’ve ever had! Immerse...More

It would depend on how mobile that person is. Hobbiton is set in the side of a hill, but didn’t seem hilly to walk around. There was a walk from the set to the pub where they serve a drink and the bus picks you up again.

With almost all tours fully booked, I do not believe you can change the time, unless there is a cancellation. You only take your allotted bus at your tour time to the movie set. You then stay with your tour guide until you... More
