Beautiful. About an hour and 15 minute at a fast pace. Easy to do on your own if you are acclimated to the altitude and reasonably fit. Slow grade up. Highly recommend this.

This is a very moderate hike right outside of Telluride to the Bear Creek Falls. Very shaded for the most part and worth the hike. Takes about about 2.5 hours roundtrip.

My husband and I were looking forward to this hike based on reviews, but sadly, I can't muster a lot of enthusiasm for it. Part of my issue was elevation; part was the fact that while on the trail to the falls, there isn't much...More

If you have time, specially in summer, you should take a walk to the falls. Scenery is great, the experience is relaxing, and you get to see a hidden gem.

We really enjoyed this hike. It is a bit tough if you’re not from Colorado, but we’re glad we stuck with it and went all the way to the falls.

We found this trail off our condo we were staying. It seemed very long hike but let me tell you is worth the hike. We loved it.

Beautiful Hike! About 1.5 hours to the falls on a well groomed gravel road. It is at altitude, so expect a little shortness of breath. Absolutely spectacular mountain scenery!

The trail to Bear Creek Falls is a gradual climb on a wide path. It’s a constant uphill for the entire length which, imo, keeps it from being an easy hike. The only steep, hard part is the last 100 yards or so. Path is...More
