Well preserved church, fairly large for the small village it served. Built over many periods. The font cover is interesting, there are many memorials to the Streatfield family who lived in the house and is a beautifully kept reminder of what England used to be....More

Particularly large church for such a small village and what intrigued us the most is that the nave of the church is very wide relative to its length giving an almost square illusion. Good local history records as well

Lovely village church, with the usual attractive, ancient architecture, fixtures and fittings. Large stone font, and generally, a good atmosphere. Lovely little room created under bell tower for informal meetings.

Visited here after going to Hever Castle, so much history in the area. Plenty of information within the church but it was Heritage weekend when we were there so people were giving guided tours.

Dating back to the 12th century, but completely rebuilt in the 17th century after a disastrous fire, this church and its graveyard is worth visiting along with the castle and a walk through the 15th century village, now owned by the National Trust. Inside, you...More
