The religious center of the Samnites'. We visited in mid-September and had the ruins all to ourselves. Where else can you get that besides Molise?? It's not a big ruin, but they're still digging and finding new things all the time, so I expect it...More

I spent 2 1/2 weeks in this small village of Pietrabbondate . This historic site is breathtaking . I spent time just sitting there . By the way , the seats are ergonomically correct !! The Samnites were amazing . I highly recommend this site...More

If your near Isernia make sure you take the drive to Pietrabbondante. The archeological site here is filled with amazing history. Make sure you have a guide to get the full story.
