Don't rush anything except getting there early to secure parking. After that, take your time & warm mittens if it's winter! The views along the way are beautiful, take it slow, look up often and enjoy the scenery. Up top, give yourself plenty of time...More

This was an amazing trail in the winter. I can't wait to hike it in the spring or summer. You definitely need microspikes. Getting up the last part is practically impossible without them because it is so slippery!

Amazing place but very crowded, takes away from the beauty. Better to find a different place to enjoy hiking.

Hanging Lake in the winter is glorious! A bit tricky with the shaded and icy trail portions. But slow and steady gets you there and it is truly worth it...magical!

The trail is very steep but everything in the area was very well maintained, including two different restrooms. Very beautiful but steep.

This is a phenomenal hike but pretty steep. Not for the faint of heart! Beautiful trail through the woods ending at a marvelous emerald gem of a lake! Incredible!

This is such a magical place. It just appears in the middle of a mountain forest and looks unreal. Hopefully everyone that visits will take care of this jewel in the mountain!
