Nice early fall ride. We let Canyon Bikes shuttle our bikes up to Bair Ranch. Stopped at trail head to do the Hanging Lake hike. Much easier than trying to find a parking spot. Unique views of the canyon and interstate. The path is a...More

rent a bike from Canyon Bikes and take a 15 mile bike ride. It's mostly downhill and tons of fun. You won't regret it.

You can’t beat the scenery that you see as you ride on this trail. Lots of opportunities for photos. The trail is designed more for taking a leisurely ride at a lower rate of speed (less than 15 mph). At higher speeds you get the...More

The whole family did the round trip bike ride, definitely runs close to the road so it can be noisy but the scenery is worth it. Rent bikes from Blue Sky Adventures and take a picnic with you. More downhill on the way back to...More

This is a good bike trail, but it seems to narrow at select points so keep away from the freeway wall. Yes, you are near the freeway most of the time, but it didn't seem to bother us.

Absolutely stunning trail. Follows along the Colorado River between I-70 and RR tracks. I would guess no more that a 3% grade. Just don't go as far west as No Name as it gets very hilly from there to Glenwood Springs.

It depends on weather. Once snow falls, you don't want to be riding a bike on the trail. Also, as the water rises in the Colorado River, the trail closes, as part of it becomes submerged in the river. Last year, the snow... More
