The Society operates a miniature railway in Abbotsfield Park since 1948 at Chassen Road, Flixton, in the Borough of Trafford, Manchester. We run every Sunday throughout the year except Christmas Day. And some Banh Holidays. Weather permitting. The railway is a continuous circuit of 2200 feet (670 metres) of raised track comprising both 3 1/2" and 5" gauges. It is one of the largest elevated tracks in the country. The price of a ride is 30p per adult or child.

Fantastic hour or so. This place is a lot of fun and at 30p per ride you cannot go wrong. It is amazing that such small engines can go so fast.
