Always a class act! Never disappointed. You can order drinks (including alcohol sodas hot cocoa) ahead for intermission. The small prompters in front of your seat lets you know which act, scene, and some info ahead of time. Enjoy!!

Being that it was our first time to attend the opera we weren't sure what to expect but were pleased with the quality of the performance. We'll be back for certain!

Though it opened to glowing reviews, I was not smitten with the world premiere production of The Scarlet Letter at Opera Colorado. I am admittedly not an opera buff, but for a world premiere opera, I had mistakenly expected something more hopeful, colorful, and engaging.

A great opera theater. Classic brick outside, great modern woodwork plus acoustics inside. Attended the showing of a most remarkable film, River of Fundament during the Denver Biennial of the Americas, and other events. Very well impressed by acoustics, visual, staff.

We were in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House for an event other than opera. I must say that it's a very impressive building. The acoustics seemed very good, and the sight lines to the stage were great. No seat seemed very far away.

I wish they had more than 2 performances a season; but the first one was outstanding. The lead singer (from China) was outstanding and the set was intimate and believable.

We purchased tickets to this venue and thoroughly enjoyed the opera. I was so impressed with the singing, the acting....the company did an exquisite job. My only criticism was that we were seated originally upstairs in seats that were like bar type seats... off the...More
