This is a nice morning walk if you're staying in one of the hotels on the south side o town. It's not exciting, dangerous or expensive...just a nice walk around a pretty little lake. Stroller friendly around the lake, but getting there with a stroller...More

Easy walk around the lake. A number of benches to sit and enjoy the view, fish or enjoy a snack. Good trail along the stream. When we were there a lady had caught five rainbow trout.

This hike starts at the base of the Snowflake lift on Four-o-Clock Road. It follows the creek up the mountain and ends at Sawmill Reservoir. Fun and easy hike for little ones and lots to see along the way. No dangerous cliffs, etc.

In my previous review, I admitted that I'd never visited Sawmill Reservoir on a sunny day (since I'd always been hiking in the mountains on those days), and I was not impressed when the day was dingy and I did a lap around this small...More

This was a great place to visit with our group! We had several children, all under age 8. The main trail around the reservoir was stroller friendly. There are several other smaller trails going away from the reservoir which we did not do. The scenery...More
