Great place to snap photos of birds and other animal up close and personal. Wonderful staff and great carding environment for non-releaseable animals.

Relatively small place but houses good many living species of birds and reptiles, the place also has an avian hospital in house. Live Shows are arranged to explain features of rare birds. Very educative experience for students of all age.

I didn't expect how LWM has changed (definitely for the good) over the years. The live animals were a treat to watch, the information on display about them was well thought out and presented, the play area for children kept her busy and happy as...More

We've taken our grandkids here several times. Sometimes the waiting for feedings and other special events has seemed long and seating very limited. The wildlife and the staff are worth waiting for, however.

Took my 8 yr old Grandson. We had several hands-on experiences with animals. Got to see an old Vulture being carried outside of his cage by a docent. A totally wonderful experience.

They are small enough that they don't pre-sell admissions. You would have to fund them through traditional methods!!! But I love your interest in Lindsay and I have to tell you I volunteer there as a docent and love it... More

There is a turkey vulture outside at the very front, but everything else is inside. It would be a wonderful place to spend a rainy day!
