The Cabrillo pathway runs along the side of the beach and ocean to and past most of the main ocean-front attractions in the city. It's well-used by bikes and skaters and can get a bit congested at weekends and on holidays; but generally it works...More

well, i lived in California my whole life so this wasn't the best scenic view I've seen. The city is a very bike-rider-friendly place though. I was able to get a good workout after i turned on State St. from the Cabrillo bike path. The...More

The bike path runs along the coast and is thus very flat. It is cool in temperature due to the proximity to the water, and offers much to see. Easy biking, but crowded around the wharf due to many others walking/biking. It goes for miles!

Excellent ride along the seafront either by turning left and go all the way to Montecito or turn right and go all the way to Rincon Beech.

A lovely ride along the front at Santa Barbara - nice and wide with lovely views. Not too busy either.

This really gave us a great feel for the Californian Coast line and we loved how it went from the Harbour all the way passed the beach, onwards towards the more residential area of Santa Barbara. A very flat, peacefiul and beautiful ride.

Rented a tandem and rode the bike trail from west end beach past the zoo. It was a great way to see the area.

If you can se the previous answer, I concur. Wheels of fun is up State St. near the Cabrillo Blvd. area, which is the street running parallel to the beach near the wharf. It's wheely fun! 1.2 and 4 passenger bicycles... More
