That wonderful lady lobbied mightily to keep this beachfront undeveloped as a city park lined with palm trees. From The East Beach Bathhouse (now under renovation) to the end of the wharf and back is a fantastic 3 mile walk. Get you exercise and aesthethics...More

No bathrooms, no place to wash off sand, no place to buy food without an incredible hike. We stayed one miserable windy hour and paid for parking. Pretty view, but what do you expect from a beach.

Took some nice sunset photos here. The park isn't a big as I expected but the rows of palm trees make for a nice backdrop in photos.

Plenty of sandy beach to run, walk, watch the sunset or take a dip in the mild waves. If the sand is too much there is a great path that straddles the beach area. Easy parking 90 minutes free. Close to pier and state street.

This is a lovely park by the beach. The palm trees provide a tropical setting for events such as a wine event we attended.

My family was first drawn by the nautical theme of this near-the-sea park. There's a playground set in a faux sea village reached by winding tree-shaded paths. The summer concerts are fun and very well-attended. Parking can be a challenge.

Things to know. Parking - you can fight to get a spot on the street or just get a meter (takes cards) in the parking lot. No bathrooms other than in the ocean or on the pier. We went on a windy day. Lots of...More
