We were here in September, so there weren't a lot of flowers blooming. We had a nice walk through the forest area and desert terrain. From what I understand, May is a wonderful time to visit.

Because we are from the south this Botanical Garden did not show very well. I am aware the plants are different here because of the lack of water but that does not make for a very interesting display. There are a few redwoods here and...More

Just stunning! Lovely relaxing path with beautiful flowers, redwoods and all that nature has to offer. Go to the top if it is open for a lovely view os Sant Barbara.

Unable to go see the gardens because they were closed due to high risk for fires. But they didn’t have any signs any where until you got to the front gates. So Incase you go just be prepared to be disappointed if they are closed.

The Botanic garden covers many acres and contains literally miles of trails. Some of the trails are fairly challenging but it's an oasis within a city and not crowded!

Not sure how this is called a Botanic gardens. It is more like a wood with a path. I saw more impressive displays of plants in the gardens of some residents of Santa Barbara.
