Nice trails, but very hilly. Very pleasant wooded park, but few flowers. Therefore not what is usually meant by a "botanical garden".

The venue is lovely and varied - indigenous plants, redwood trees. Many resting spots. Elements of old aqueduct built by native Indians under the direction of mission padres. And best of all, our dog could be with us.
