Not the best California mission to visit, but a must-see if you are a mission junky as am I. This is not the original mission, but a replica rebuilt on the original site in 1949. The mission itself is very small and will only require...More

The old mission and the newer church are really lovely. Visit both, and enjoy walking through the grounds. This is a pleasant, peaceful spot.

Unfortunately all the buildings were locked on Saturday evening so we were only able to view them from outside. Architecturally they are stunning! The gardens were beautiful! I'm sorry that we didn't have an opportunity to spend time indoors.
