Stopped in Shingle Springs and rented bikes from Sam's Town Cyclery on our way to Tahoe. They even have racks to rent road, mountain and fat tire bikes to take to Tahoe. The El Dorado Trail was great!

Great hike on a paved trail. Some uphill walking, but not too hard. Watch out for bikes. All riders were courteous. Nice tunnel and wild flowers. Dogs allowed. Several bench for breaks on trail.

This rails to trails project is a great place to go for a walk or bike ride! Fun historical sites to see including an old tunnel and the Weber Creek bridge.

The trail is great, but it seems increasingly visited or lived on by locals without rent or mortgages. One surprise after the other along the path.

You can walk from Missouri Flat road in Placerville to Camino. Well maintained. Mostly paved. Part of the walk consists of downtown Placerville.
