We drove through Apple Hill the other day and stopped at Abel’s Orchards. There were at least 10 vendors, a restaurant stand, and apples for sale. We bought some interesting ceramic vegetables from a very nice lady.

This was one of the worst pies I have ever had the misfortune to eat. The crust is tough and has no flavor. The apples are rubbery with very little flavor, it is very dry. And yes I baked it exactly the way the directions...More
