So much closer to Silicon Valley than Tahoe! Only a few places to stay overnight (but there are a few). The ski resort reminds me of how skiing used to be years ago. And the added areas because of a few new(er) lifts make the...More

If only the service was half as nice as the skiing area! 1. arriving at noon on Dec. 30th, 2007, it took 40 minutes to get the ski equipment for a group of 5. Skis in my length (160 cm) were no longer available, the...More

Older ski resort. Parking can be a hassle so plan accordingly. Nice variety of runs for all skiing abilities. Not a fancy Tahoe resort - a sweet, small, mountain resort doing a good job providing space for a fun outdoor activity!

Very friendly ski and snowboarding resort. Spring skiing was lovely. No crowds. Not all chairs lifts were opened but there were enough to make it worthwhile. Scene is beautiful.

The snow delivered in a big way this past weekend. 2 feet of fresh snow was dumped overnight Friday to set up Saturday for blue bird conditions. We left the Bay Area at 6AM and were in proximity in just over 3 hrs. There was...More

Perfect mountain for skiing with young kids. It is a very beginner to intermediate mountain. The restaurant is ok. Over priced but too be expected. Will definitely be back!

Living in the bay, sometimes it's great to have one day ski trip and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort seems to fit the bill. We got discounted tickets from our local Lucky Supermarket for $10 less and we woke up early 6:30AM and drove 3 hours...More

Pleasantly surprised. We like the smaller low key ski resorts with our kids and this place definitely fit the bill. Even on a busy President's Day weekend, it was not too over crowded. Our daughter's (11,8) took a two hour private lesson with Ski Instructor...More

Great place to ski as a family. Reasonable rates for equipment and lifts. Not too crowded unless you need equipment- in that case arrive early or get fitted the night before, which we did and saved a ton of time. Will be back!

Normally Dodgeridge is best from mid Jan to mid April. But this year is bad. Even Tahoe is dry right now. Pretty risky to ski or snowboard on pre-season conditions (like now)
