We arranged a private food and wine pairing. We were is a lovely private room and we tasted their signature wines. Each wine was paired with a delicious food item. The wines were outstanding as were the paired food bits. The guide for tasting, Paul, was extremely knowledgeable. We would highly recommend visiting Adelaida and try their private tasting.

Delightful winery!

We had an excellent experience at Adelaida. Penny was our server and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a server yourself at your own pace tasting experience. All the wines are brought out at the same time in small pitchers for you to pour at your leisure. Made for a nice relaxing afternoon. We sat out on the porch and had some beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed the wines, especially their Syrah & Cab. Penny checked in with us and gave us notes on the wines & also the surrounding area, since we did not know much about the Paso area. Definitely a must visit when in Paso!

Only 4 out of 20 tables occupied with employees standing around bored and empty wine reception however we were turned away for a tasting. Unbelievable. Unfortunately a very stuffy atmosphere when you turn people away from a very empty winery.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, on the day in question, you came in while we were finishing up with our morning tasters and our staff was waiting for our afternoon groups to arrive. I am sure the tasting room looked empty and if we did not have future reservations scheduled to arrive, we would have hosted you for a tasting. I am sorry you encountered this with another winery as well, but reservations do fill up, especially on weekends. Please give us a call next time you are in town if you would like to book a reservation in the future.

Maybe our favorite tasting experience of this trip. The hilltop setting is absolutely amazing - completely makes the experience. Pricey because it includes signature wines with paired charcuterie. It was worth the experience for us, though we do wish we had the possibility of waiving part of the cost if we bought some bottles. Our hostess was knowledgeful, friendly and fun, and we were lucky that no one else showed up, so it was completely private. Wines of course were lovely, charcuterie good and mostly well paired, though there could have been a tad more. The views are stunning and just so amazing on a cooler, clear day (maybe not as comfy if it's over 100 degrees). Love that they personalized the tasting menu for us. You still park in the regular lot; they drive you up there in their van.

We visited this winery for wine tasting. The experience was excellent. My wife and I sat at a quiet table and a knowledgeable women introduced each one of the wines (6). The wines were generally excellent. There was no pressure to buy, though we eventually bought a number of bottles. After wine tasting we sat in a nice sunny place outside the tasting room to enjoy a picnic that we had brought with us, while admiring the beautiful surrounding scenery.

Sat on the porch overlooking the vineyard on a chilly winter day...luckily there were heat lamps and blankets. The service was great even though it was very busy that day. We all liked the wine so much we joined the club (I know, I know) but it was worth it ;-) Inside it was warm and welcoming too.

The first wine that 4 of us tried on a 2 1/2 day wine tasting trip was Anna's White. None of us favor white wines over red but this was a GREAT glass of wine...bought a bunch between the 2 couples.

Amazing views, delicious wines and a delightful and friendly host made our tasting the best part of our vacation! We splurged for the Signature Tasting, and it was worth every penny. Paul Osborne had a vast knowledge of wines, both in Paso Robles and the Rhone region of France, as well as around California. He was enjoyable to talk with and made the day very memorable. After the hilltop tasting he provided us with tastes of other wines we were interested in purchasing (and did). Highly recommend this tasting and ask for Paul!

Adelaida was known to us, and we returned for a tasting on the porch, with a reservation. The self pour tasting at your own pace is nicer than many other tasting rooms, and the knowledge of your host/hostess depends upon their experience. Very pleasant.

Wonderful welcome. First winery that tailored a menu with my name on it. Very inviting and friendly, and quieter than the other wineries. Beautiful airy open vineyard tasting room. They're one of the highest elevations in the valley at 2230 ft. Taken care of by Sean Sly who very much loves the wines and has depth of knowledge about everyone. Adelaida leans toward higher acidity and food wine, which has a perfect place at the dining table.
