The show we went to had the WORST sound ever. Nearly unbearable. Multiple bands played and they would stop mid-song and complain to the sound-man who never looked up to acknowledge any of them. Many people left. Great bands...horrible sound. Venue is older but I...More

Cast aside doubts-while the place may be a bit worn around the edges, not in a ritzy neighborhood, and is in a town literally unknown for its cultural scene, this site delivers. Just went to a concert. It was world class-no kidding. These folks could...More

I also was misinformed and mislead by the "performance" Bram Stoker's Dracula! Everything that i heard and read made this sound like a Theatrical Play? It only took me 20 minutes of disbelief before i realized it was a Radio Recording!? Then i walked out...More

I purchased tickets to Bram Stoker's Dracula, which by all advertisements, articles and posts, was made to sound like a stage play. When we arrived we found that it was a reading for radio, performed in front of a live audience. My group along with...More

We have attended a few performances here. It is a very large facility. The Oxnard Symphony performs here regularly. We have enjoyed every event that we have attended.

This city theater/auditorium needs an upgrade, but the acoustics are OK. Have seen orchestra, opera, concerts, etc here over the years, and it is not my favorite location but it is OK. At night, the parking lot is not very well lit, so bring a...More

Refurbished not too many years ago so very nice inside, more room and facilities in the ladies' room which is a big improvement. However, whoever selects who will appear needs to get more creative and have some of the same talent we see in Santa...More

I have played here many times with various groups, including The New West Symphony. The acoustics are pretty good and even the cheap seats are fairly close to the stage. There is ample free parking. Not bad these days. If you like the group performing,...More
