Beautiful grounds and interesting historical sight. Take time to stroll and take in the ambiance. Charming chapel and peaceful cemetery. Small nursery and gift shop an interesting stop. Two hours to do it right.

This mission is one of the most beautiful in California. It offers a lot of interesting things to see at the site including the rose garden, cemetery, lavanderia, koi pond, museum. It is a very active church offering classes and special events by different cultures.

This is one of the 21 Spanish missions in SoCal - this one in Oceanside was well maintained with a very knowledgeable staff to answer questions. Many special exhibits of its rich 200+ history, including tools, pictures and paintings.
