Visited this winery on a whim. Our wine associate “Mike” was absolutely the best. He gave us background about each wine and answered every one of our questions. He helped us learn to describe the nose and taste of several wines. We had a great...More

We spent the day visiting several wineries on Sonoma and Napa Valley. We made an afternoon stop at Robert Mondavi Winery and was so impressed with our sommelier, her knowledge of the winery history and the different wines was outstanding. We left carrying over 6...More

Went here for a tour of the winery and a tasting. It was interesting to go behind the scenes and our tour guide was wonderful. The winery is magnificent and then of course the tasting at the end of the tour was very fun.

Joanna, the skinny kid. Joanna, the girl who sleeps until 1PM. That was me. I never had enough energy in highschool to do anything except homework. I thought maybe something wasn't right, but I didn’t have the guts to tell my parents. They were so...More

Mondavi is one of the wineries that made Napa famous, and it's in a lovely setting, so it's worth a visit. The wines are good -- and they originated fume' blanc - but the wines don't stand out until you get to the very top...More

Even if you are not a wine person, worth a stop just to walk around and enjoy the scenery. If you are a wine person, even better; knowledgeable staff and variety of tastings.

We planned a trip to visit Napa Valley over the New Year and of course we had to visit my husband's favorite wine maker. This was the only winery tour we took and felt the others could not live up to this one. We thoroughly...More

The Oakville Grocery is just a half-mile south on St. Helena Hwy from Robert Mondavi. This is a great place to stop either before or after visiting the winery. Have fun!

No, it was not a bad experience at all. It just wasn't as great as some of the smaller wineries we visited. I'm not sure what you think they wouldn't sell me. I would have to go back to the review. Their gift shop was... More
