The title says it all! The place has excellent bird watching and some very nice trails that are very acessable. Large eucalyptus trees dominate the sky above you and make this a cool and well shaded walk.

This preserve has expanded with more trails and a wonderful bird watching blind on the water. This is NOT a playground for little kids although they certainly can learn from the visit. Dogs are prohibited and while that may seem unfriendly, this is a nature...More

Went here last weekend while staying in Morro Bay. Was hoping to see birds but, hardly saw any. Still a nice walk and appreciate the wooden pathways in certain sections and the info signs that described the types of birds seen in the area.

Lots of birds, and since they have recently outlawed dogs it is more friendly for the wildlife. It's a small park so it won't take too much time.
