This building is absolutely beautiful. A real LA classic. I love to visit whenever I'm in town. I am very disappointed that they started charging for parking this year, though. It will definitely make me hesitate and rethink coming next time.
We visited on the evening of a star party. There were plenty of people with their telescopes showing moon and planets to visitors.
Highly recommend parking by the Greek theater and taking the bus. Carry change ( 50 cents per person, each way).
