Great Trader Joe's
Jan 2021
We are not local to the area, but we were staying nearby, had the ability to cook so off to Trader Joe's we want. As opposed to the one near my house, this one had plenty of parking and I was not searching for 10 minutes. The aisles were wide and I could easily get my cart around.

All employees are Covid compliant and you will feel safe there. The customer service is great here. They know where everything is and will help you with any questions. Check out does not take forever and they have people to help you to your car if needed. Bring your own bags if you can.

The selection at this Trader Joe's is wonderful. They have it all. Whatever you see at your other Trader Joe's they will have here. The frozen items are all so great and the fresh produce is super. Have a great time.

The Best TJ's in San Diego
Jul 2019 • Business
Great selection of food and supplies for your visit to San Diego. The veggies are always fresh, the flowers great for your room stay, they have it all including your bar essentials. 10 minutes up the road from I-8/I-5 interchange and you get to see the Mormon Church on the way.

Great To-Go Salads
Jun 2019 • Family
Parking here was a nightmare with narrow lanes and narrow parking spots so we did not linger. Just bought our to go salads and got back in our car before it was damaged by other vehicles.

First Stop when Visiting San Diego
May 2019
Trader Joe’s is always our first stop when visiting La Jolla and is a great place to stock up on all types of snacks and drinks. This is one of the busier Trader Joe’s, and parking can be congested, but if you go in the morning between 8:00 and 10:00 am, parking and the store are usually quieter. This German owned company is know for the quality of their products and their service. Their prices are also reasonable. They are also one of the few grocery chains that offer low sugar and low salt options on many of their items. Their low salt spaghetti sauce is excellent. They also have low salt peanut butter, salsa, tuna and nuts just to name a few examples. Even when they are busy, checkout is always fairly fast; if a line gets more that a couple of customers, you will hear a bell ring and instantly, more checkout lanes open.
