Unusual for a small city to have a botanical garden. Nicely done in all seasons. Nice to see what is native and non-native to the area.

I love to do floral photography, and Clovis Botanical Garden was bursting with flowers in May. The park itself is small, but holds a lot of interesting specimens. There is no admission fee, only a jar for donations in the small shop at the entrance.

Walk around paths to see the garden. Plenty of drought tolerant plants to see, especially if you go when they are in bloom. Gardens are not large so you can easily see them in an hour or less. Docents work around the garden and can...More
