Beautiful scenery, rock pools, wild life, well maintained paths and signs. Lots of interesting look outs just off the main path. Can easily walk in less than the time shown on the website. We took just over 5 hrs and stopped lots on the way.

Did on last day of season, a 25 degree spring day. Set off at about 7am, had breakfast and morning tea on Numbat trail, and a nice lunch at end. Great varied trail, well marked, lots of up and down, with great views. Lots of...More

There are a few walks here, the views are lovely, there is wildlife and beautiful wild flowers. The numbat trail is very hilly so I'd recommend a good fitness level. Call ahead on a weekday to get a code to get in.

A well marked trail that is easy to walk. There are a few small hills but nothing too strenuous. Take water and carry some food so you can sit and enjoy soeof the great views

We visited on a very hot day, which was our major blunder. The sanctuary is lovely, but nothing special compared to the next door national parks, and on a hot day all the animals will be taking refuge (and you should too). Go early in...More

We walked the Quenda track at Paruna in late July. Great time to go as the topography is quite hilly - lots of ups/downs and summer would make this a hot day's walk. The track is well marked and maintained, there were pletny of wildflowers...More

This sanctuary is off the beaten track, although it could be linked with a visit to beautiful Toodyay about 40km down the road. Is it worth the journey? I think this could depend on the time of the year of your visit. We were there...More
