We came to Cachagua to visit the penguins. The beach is a beauty – it was the first thing that caught my eye as we drove in. Gorgeous blue water, and wave upon wave crashing on a wide, sandy beach. While you can view the...More

We went to this beach in Cachagua. It is beautiful and the water has splendid colors. To get to the beach you must descend a trench with many steps. Not good if you suffer from some disability, specially when you go back up. We were...More

During winter it’s pretty quiet. During the winter break several places are open but you have to check in advance. Nice beach and there is a beautiful path along the sea line.

We went to the beach in Cachagua right at the start/end of the amazing rock beach trail. What I love about this beach is that you have the sandy parts with waves for the kids, but also the rocky tide pools and my favorite beach...More

It was perfect! Very beautiful and relaxing place. Popular with surfers. Maybe a bit simpler place than Zapallar, which I actually liked

I came there by chance and on a rainy day but nevertheless the beach turned out to be a very beautiful place to spend time.

We found the beach by following a small sign - it's really tricky to find the beach, but if you get there early enough you will avoid paying for parking. The water is really cold - everyone was wearing wetsuits, but there is a great...More

Beautiful idyllic beach, 2hrs from Santiago. Fantastic for families with young kids. The Long Beach (playa larga) has great sand for kids sandcastles, and good waves that break slowly and over 30mts, which is great for kids to start surfing or boogie boarding. The beach...More
