Family owned and run pub, just on the other side of the bridge in Thurles, very olde worlde, whilst I have not been to the Trad sessions on a wednesday I have heard that they are very good with lots of local talent.

Wedneday is the busy evening. Other nights are usually quiet unless there's a quiz. A big open pub where Guinness is still the favourite drink. Baskets of black pudding and onion rings served gratis some nights.

There's a Irish Trad Session here every Wednesday night. It starts at 22.00 and has been hook on for the past 30 years. Most nights there are between 12 to 20 musicians. A great night, in a lovely pub!
