For the princely sum of €2 each, the ‘Old Town’ experience is excellent value with the nicely restored tower house complex available to look around. Whilst not a life changing attraction, well worth a visit and the pleasant walk to get there

Paid €1 each to visit. The church wasn't open but everything else was. Stunning views. Great interpretations. Some climbing. The tower wasn't worth climbing as no access to roof. Stra ge as layer from our hotel above we saw people there photographing. Good Mani history...More

We were exploring Kardamili and saw the sign for Old Town and the Tower and church there. It has been lovingly restored and was a wonderful photo op. The little museum presented many facts about the fortified settlements around the Mani area and was very...More

Interesting and inexpensive historical site that provides some insight into the history of the region surrounding the town. It was an hour well spent, although some of the artwork that was on display seemed a bit out of place in this setting.

While vacationing in Stoupa, this is well worth taking a side trip to visit. It was the most reasonably priced site in my 3 week road trip at 2 euro. It made for great pictures and visiting in October, we were the only ones there....More

Enjoyable walk from town centre to this wonderfully restored tower. 2 Euro entrance fee and well worth the visit.

We visited on a very hot day, but going inside the old towers helped us cool down. Entrance is just two euros. Interesting insight into the Mani way of life.

If you have not visited Peleponnesos before, you will get a good introduction at this museum. It is small but informative. Make sure you don't mind some climbing and narrow stairs, though. Nice walk from town to Old Town (and in fact, turned out to...More

A glimpse into life long gone, with cellars, store rooms and tower to explore, all in a lovely setting with a pleasant walk up to the site. There's a friendly taverna nearby, too.
