Close to the harbor, up the side street between the supermarket and the Chemist shop, you will find the Cosy Back Yard bar, small but ideal.
This spot is full of charm, set among trees, comfortable seating, discrete lighting, and excellent service.
Inside is a novelty in itself (I won’t spoil the surprise).
On a recent visit we had some 3 Greek women beside us, with 2 Irish men adjacent to them, plus a few German couples all as neighbors, their ages ranged from mid-twenties to mid sixties and all fitted in so well in the Cosy Back yard, which made it a joy to be present. Despite the many groups we had a table to ourselves, and were free to enjoy the ambiance and the great value cocktails.
Visit the Cosy back Yard, you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely cocktails at one of the best places in Crete.The owner and is very friendly and we really enjoyed his company.We visited the bar every night of our stay in plakias.

Lovely cocktails- huge variety. We both enjoyed sitting outside watching the world go by. Service was excellent. If you like cocktails, cone here!

Soft, cozy and so friendly! The cutest staff you can imagine, just a few metres from the little mainstreet in lovely Plakias. Good prices, good drinks!

The cozy backyard has a fab atmosphere, with the amazing team of Makis and Irene behind the bar. The sound system pumps out great music, and the cocktail menu is a sight to behold - so many, which to choose? Love this place and want to thank Makis and Irene for being so welcoming.

Small bar with outside seating up a little side street. All cocktails are €7 and there is a massive selection to choose from. Also serves, wine, juice and coffee. Great service too.
