This museum is located in the old church with a tower, which makes it even more exciting to visit! The view from the top is simply majestic! the museum also includes a second building, old priest's house and it is still expanding.
The collection includes various instruments from different time periods, sections and details to study. You may listen to the sound of different organs.
There is also a possibility to play and listen.

The organs in the church are interesting with display boards to explain what they are. There is an organ which visitors can play, so I loved playing Bach's 'Toccata and Fugue in D minor' What a wonderful sound! There was also a half hour concert at lunchtime so we heard 5 different organs being played in various styles. What a treat!
The only slight disappointment was that the building on the other side of the road was closed for refurbishment. I visited it two years ago and it has lots more instruments to see.

Be aware, that the only parking is along the street. However, it is restricted and you receive a fine once you left the car. Neighbors are entitled to issue the fines. They act like spiders in a net and monitor tourists when they park their cars. So a real rip off to finance the monastery. The monastery it self charges entrance fee (€ 3,50) tower climbing fee (€ 1,0) and fee for taking photos (1,0 €). So as a family you pay € 30,00 incl. parking. The exposed organs are definitely not worth it.
All in all a hostile atmosphere. At least not welcoming.
