Firstly. The map we were given was so badly printed that it was basically useless. We were told when we booked that there would be rock pools we could swim in but when we entered the park there were signs stating that they were experiencing...More

Hiking in the Mountain Sanctuary Park Nature Reserve was an outstanding experience and absolutely worth the roughly 1 1/2 hour drive from Pretoria. Park management is friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain the many hiking opportunities in the reserve. The park is...More

Not far from Johannesburg, lies Magaliesburg. Most people get stuck at Hartebeespoort dam, but if you venture a little further (say 60kms) you reach an oasis that's ready to welcome you to nature at its best! We came here for a birthday hike - two...More

Although the staff are friendly and our bins and braaier were cleaned regularly, the camp rules are not enforced. I was told I'm not allowed to play my guitar and I obeyed. The rules also state that no bikes may be ridden in the rest...More

Crystal clear pools inside indigenous gorges... fascinating shaped rock formations surrounded by non familiar ancient mountain veld. Loved the quietness and excellent warm @ home service... been there thrice... comfy chalets or group camping.
