Cycle Cape Point and Karim's cafe were really helpful and friendly and the bicycles were in great shape and well maintained. Would just caution that it's fairly hilly to get to cape point from Simon's Town, so as long as you're up for the ride....and its all downhill back to Karim's.

We saw all the 5 star reviews? Not sure why. We made a booking and were told to pick up bikes from the back storage room of a small grocery store in ST. The bikes were new, not electric, and not adjustable. If you're over 6 feet (like my husband) be prepared for a sore back. Our directions consisted of... More

Thank you for your feedback. We always want to improve our customer service. Sorry to hear we failed to help you adequately. You should have received trip information upon booking with details of what to expect, a map, highlights, distances etc? Karim, the shop owner, has allan keys to adjust seat heights. We have electric bikes, which are not suitable... More

Bike picked up at shop in village ... easy. Charged and ready to go. Not having cycled for a while, appreciated the help on the hills between here and the Cape, as gusts of wind deceptive. Wheel tread good, sturdy construction. Overall, a highly enjoyable three days. Thank you, Sandy!

I was looking for rental bikes to do a trip to the cape and was happy to find Sandys bicycles. Booking the bikes in the internet was really easy and we could choose the bikes when we arrived. My bike was really well equipped for the tour as it was for the other bike. Sandy prepared everything perfect and provided... More

Not only the charming, self-engineered bicycles but also the kindness and flexibility of Sandy makes me recommend this activity to anyone who wants to explore the cape without a car

The motorised bikes are great.. very easy to ride.. perfect for a comfortable ride through the cape.. Sandy, the owner, is a very nice guy.. very helpful and flexible and most importantly he is not a "business man" but cares more about you enjoying your ride which makes me gona try the other activities he sponsors.. Highly recommended!

The motorised bikes are great fun and something I had never tried before. Learning to ride them was relatively easy and allowed my wife and I explore the cape under our own steam. Much simpler (and cheaper) than hiring a car and easily accessible from Simon's Town train station.

top fun! the bikes are really easy to use and the perfect option to get out to the cape point and around the beautiful cape peninsula. We had a great afternoon in the nationalpark and chilling with the baboons, a must do if you are in cape town!

I've been renting my motorised bicycle from Cycle Cape Point in June 2015. Wonderful experience to drive along the beatiful Cape roads! I was a bit worried as I never drove any kind of two-wheels motorised vehicule before, but Sandy, the owner, was very nice, patient and did take time to explain me everything I needed to know. I had... More
