Really enjoyed the time I spend with Ollava. Had so much fun and a few laughs. Was well worth it. Will definitely be back on my next holiday and visit to Cape Town, South Africa. Rudy also got me interested in Tech diving and exploring caves!

Rudy and his team were excellent dive guides. We went to Kelp forest and dived with seals. Rudy knew where to go and what to look out for. It was great hanging out with the team, we had breakfast together. Very much recommend this trip!

I did my PADI Advanced Open Water Course with Rudy and I loved every second of it. Rudy is so much more than a diving instructor. Firstly, he is one of the most qualified instructors in the country - he is extremely patient, understanding, calm and caring. He takes his time with every student and will give you much more information than is prescribed in the course. He makes you feel so calm and comfortable underwater. He dedicates 100% of himself to every student. But more than that, once you’ve passed your diving course with Rudy, you can expect to gain a diving buddy who is permanently exciting to go diving. Rudy is always ready to take you on a fun dive. And diving with him is an incredible experience. He found the most interesting little underwater creatures for us to look at from mermaid’s purses to nudi branches. And he has an extensive knowledge of marine life. I only ever want to dive with Rudy in Cape Town.

Went diving with Rudy who did an excellent job at making us feel comfortable. We made two dives and saw some kelp, a giant stingray and one or two pajamas sharks on our first dive. On the second the visibility was horrible and we saw nothing.

Since no one else was diving that day we were happy that he took us out but wouldn’t recommend diving in bad visibility, just not worth it.

Today me and my friend went diving with Ollava dive school. Very happy that we Finally could go coz the past 3 days the weather conditions were very bad and we had to prospone our dive. We were very good informerd by the dive school that they didnt wanna go out on open sea and showed us our options together. Which was ok coz we had more days in cape town. So dont have A tight schedule when It comes to diving! So Finally today we could go and we were very excited about diving with the seals. We were briefed professionaly multiple times and the guys made sure Everyone felt good and confortable. We dove with 3 people and one instructor. The dives were both open water dives and good to do! The seals were So great swimming all around you and coming So close towards you Its such a special experiance. And diving A ship wreck for me it was the first time, great for a second dive of that day. I definitly recommend this dive school!

I’ll preface this review with the information that I’m a trained PADI instructor myself and have run course with kids. Julia took our two teens through the paces of the refresher course, designed for divers who haven’t dived in a while and want a review. Julia did this by the book, with a lovely manner and extreme patience. I’ve seen this course run very poorly in other places in the past, but would 100% recommend Ollava for equipment and professionalism. We’ll probably go seal and wreck diving with them too...

I got a Tripadvisor account just so that I could review this place.

I visited Cape Town from the US in March and went to Ollava for my open water certification based on a friend's recommendation. I really loved taking lessons there. My instructor was Loic, and he was really patient and made diving fun. It felt really personal, and since I was taking the course alone, I had a lot of individual attention. They had just moved to their new place on the main road, and it's beautiful. I also went on a dive and saw sharks and seals. I recommend Ollava!

The diving center is situated in a beautiful residence with view on the sea and close to the beach. They have very good equipment and facilities. I didn't do a classic tour but I could organize a free diving session with Loic to see the cow sharks. It was a magical experience I will never forget. Leaving from the coast in the kelp forest was so much better than the boat ride. Loic was very professional, friendly and flexible despite my limited timeframe (had to catch a plane). I wish I could stay more and will definitely return.

Had an awesome day with Ollav DC and the guide Jackson ( not sure of the spelling). Nice, tidy center. Safety I focus and good gear. The ocean blessed us with good conditions and loads of sharks, seals and nudiebranches. Don't forget your camera ( as I did ) and sunblock :)
