Derek was absolutely phenomenal. We ended up going alone with him after two days of trying to convince my sister to go. He was always understanding and always reassured my sister. He was always at a pace that we all felt comfortable and was very...More

We were not lucky with the weather (grey, rainy and windy) but they took us on a sportive trip to a 1910 shipwreck (since it was going to be too dangerous to get to the penguins). Despite the grim weather we had a great time,...More

Thanks Julie, we are glad you still enjoyed the kayak trip despite the weather. It's always fun whatever the conditions - within reason :)

Thanks Stephen. Windy conditions do make it harder to get close to the penguins - but it does make it more adventurous!

We had a nice morning while we were kayaking. In a group of 12 people, we went up to the sea and kayaked there for 2 hours. On our way, we crossed Boulders Beach and saw penguins and seals. An adventurous outdoor activity!

We kayaked out to see the penguins. It was a bit windy and weren't sure if we'd go the whole way, but the guides were encouraging and careful. They assured us that we could make it and they were right! It was a wonderful fun...More

Thank you Scarybird - and we like your name, which is the opposite of our penguins, cutebird.

Smooth waters and friendly staff ensured a very good kayaking experience. We were sternly "recommended" not to bring our phones/cameras as all photos were being taken by the kayak team. This was a blessing in disguise since we could enjoy the sights without getting diverted....More

This is not the best area to see dolphins, try Kaskazi on the Cape Town side for that. We are the best area for penguins and seals.
