My agent booked this for me. I figured I would sit in the front and my guide would do all the work. NO, NO NO. You and your fellow amateur are given a kayak told how it works then off we go. You start out around south african navy vessels to the breakwater. This day was windy, waves, large waves,... More

My ten year old daughter and I had a great trip on a Saturday morning in late July. There was a bit of wind that resulted in moderate waves but that just made it exciting for us. The kayaks are very stable and the guides were very safety conscious and kept us all together and on the most sheltered route.... More

My friends and I went kayaking on a Saturday morning and we all enjoyed our time. We got to swim to the penguins and even saw seals along the way. It wasn't the best weather out; it started raining and getting super windy, but that only made it feel like an adventure! Just remember to bring extra pair of clothes... More

Everything is beautiful in Simon's Town, being in the water paddling around just gives a new and fantastic perspective on the Town. Seeing penguins and seals so close to you is an experience everyone should have and getting out and breathing in the fresh air can never hurt. 10/10 would do it again!

It may look a bit messy at the beginning but once you get it and you find your rhythm , it will just be a pleasant ride. It was also a very nice way to meet new friends,... More

I really enjoyed the kayak around Simonstad. It is a rare opportunity to get so close to animals like seals and penguins in the ocean. The guides were great, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
