Stunning. The path is well maintained and views beautiful all along. It has a flat path along it for a gentle hike. It's some 20 mins drive from the Llanganuco Mountain lodge, versus 2.5/3 hours from Huaraz or over 1.5 hrs from Yungay. It's a...More

Went here on our way to Laguna 69, took a stop and took some photos. Really beautiful, the water was so blue and pristine, and the high rugged mountains in the background. Well worth the stop.

We visited the lake in September, which is a bit into the off peak season, thankfully there weren't many people around. The colour is simply amazing and the mountains add for a perfect scenery. I didn't give it 5 stars due to the terrible road...More

Went flying kites and for a picnic. Nice area, can get super crowded during holidays with a lot of traffic congestion so avoid going then.
